Oh, what could this evil be, ah, "the best of", aw, commiserations.
You won't share alternative titles with us other than 'project'?
It won't hurt you. MA are exempt from naffness, it's a fact. Wish I'd been blessed so. 8)
And it could be worse, it could be out for Christmas. And have Tesco/Woolworths adverts.
Looking forward to the unreleased material, dvd and artwork.
All the best.

I’m so glad-and proud of you-that you’re gonna play free concerts in Africa/Middle East/Eastern Europe. Looking forward to seeing you back here and feel again the most beautiful ‘slap’ in the world or the awakening from my lythargy if you like…I really owe you much for this one mate, thanks.

Well I forsee some busy times ahead for the crew! Gigs, LP5, Best of, New DVD and the non-western world charity gigs.

Is it really pathetic that I just danced all over my room in some sort of weird ecstatic outpouring of happiness? Yeah? Oh well, too late.

The charity gigs sound great. I wonder if Palestinian Youth are one? That would be uber cool - Actually, its all uber cool.

Amazing Festive Present! Cheers, dude!

thanks for the update, the new works sound promising + the shows in developing nations should be interesting. i prefer the title 'false flags' but whatever suits the track

how about these as an expression of interest in rare tracks to be released

'house of yes' - track with dandy warhols
'superpredators' - original MA version ie not remixed by mad prof
full vocal version of 'wire'
'no souvenirs'
'speed of dark'
'bullet'
'teardrop' - unreleased underdog/trevor jackson remix
'sly' - unreleased FSOL remix (did this ever exist?)
unreleased remix of gang of four (did this ever exist?)
track created for 'proof of life'
instrumental track created for 'blade ii' - not i against i
and 'just a matter of time' on the dvd

phew, what a list. enjoy the holiday season.

I would laso like to add to Damien's list of rare MA tracks the orginal Antistar and Aftersun that were made during the Lupine Howl sessions and the remix of Nature of Threat that was used in the South Bank show docu on Marc Quinn. Was'nt there also a UNKLE remix of I V I?I also have a interview saying there was a 3rd track done with Sara Jay?Not to demanding are we?
That newly uncovered Liz track should be great.I agree with Damien that False Flags sounds like a better name for D's new track, but I suppose thats up to D.
I've also been thinking about what the tracklisting of the best of should be.Here's just my take on it.Just LP tracks no b-sides or such and I have'nt thought what the order should be but probably not in chronological order

Safe From Harm
Five Man Army
Unfinished Sympathy(Duh!)
Hymn of The Big Wheel

Protection
Karmacoma
Eurochild
Sly

Angel
Risingson
Teardrop
Inertia Creeps

Future Proof
Everywhen
Special Cases

Live With Me

so it seems that second "DVD/AUDIO DISC" would be dual disc (http://www.dualdisc.com/faq.html), because it would be consistant with this: http://www.avrev.com/news/0204/04.dualdisc.html...especially that part about "WITH AN HOUR OF NEW/UNRELEASED/RARE MATERIAL"....don't know how that tecnology advanced in little less than year from when that article was published, but is single layer dvd (capacity of 4.7 GB) enough for 15 videos+live footage (whole songs-if so, how many, excrapts or whole gig (!?) or what)?....well, we'll have to wait and see (btw, was i the only one interpreting march 07. as march 2007.? ), aren't we?...if they will use dual disc, then dvd-side would probably containig videos and live footage in quicktime/avi/whatever format, and cd-side will containig normal audio... i don't know how will they put 60 minutes of bonus audio material, 15 videos+live footage on just one dvd, unless it would be doublesided double-layer dvd (rare beast indeed)....

If all of those were on there I'd cream my pants.

Na, I did as well, but it seems to be March 7th, quite a few sites mention a Best Of in March 2006 so yeah..

And Hooverphonic's new album was also a Dualdisc, quite excellent I'd say.
