I'ts been brought to my attention that this forum will be taken offline in the next week or so.
The current Massive Attack website is being redesigned by Universal and the forum will not be part of that.
Bring on the new media 8)
Thanks to all members/contributors/etc for being around.
It was fun
P

it was good while it lasted, will be interesting (?) to see how the new website pans out.
i will remember fondly the good people and times that went down here.
and despite my own dismal workpace on my website (to rival that of massive attack themselves!) i won't be going anywhere anytime soon.

that is surely a bummer, for as long as online communities go, we definitely got it going on for quite some time here. so, where do we catch up with the massive fix now?

I used to read all of you used to read one of you I used to love it here I used to loathe it here I climbed a ladder to a dark mezzanine with blue lines on the cieling And a silver fan spinning and spider webs hanging And many gaps and openings I crossed the 100th window there was a road leading to a bizarre place they called heligoland where the cats and bats where seeking protection On this road I collected a map it drove me here a black window that was connection
burnt my iris
among other flowers
I used to read all of you my name taken but I'm the same I used to be thankful for what I got When way back in the age of tapes I heard about releases by chance and by mistake Then I ended up here
Let us say it was our babel Let us
Inertia creeps this agora and F/word/book sucks your data
It knows that I'm craving for first hand newsfeed It was empty here but I kept coming in my rush minutes emi gets rid of you and me with the flat of the blade
Smell the black sand of this desert your face slapped by the atlas air I know what it tastes like. Perfectly.

I have read all of you and also one of you.

HAHAHAHAHA... yes, yes it does, good one.

Ashes to ashes, raft to raft.

See my previous post for the forum eulogy.

Amen.

suprisingly enough the forum is still up and running, 330 or so afficionados still visiting and lots and lots of interesting material to read, ponder and share; so how about we, you, me, pee, astral,? start a new topic posting our reasons for its continuation to the inane technocrats that took the decision to cancel it?

solidarity is a weapon of mass (creative) construction...

i tried to drum up interest a while ago with a few of the regular posters from back in the day. i really only had one that said if the forum revived they would come back. this was always such of wealth of ideas and music sharing. there is so much musically that i would have never been exposed to without this forum. it's a shame to lose it. i am happy for the friends that i've made and the experiences that i'd never have has w/o this little tucked away forum.

Ah, that's a real shame. I've been on here for a few years, posting little pieces here and there. Not a "power user" by any means, just a Massive fan. I'll miss it! Hopefully the new site has a place where fans can congregate like this. Respect to the Massive and to everyone who's posted cool stuff here over the years.
